Corporations
Support BVA and Receive Direct Tax Credits through EITC
Program
We are excited that BVA was once again designated
by The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s EITC program as an
Innovative Educational Program. This allows corporations
to direct corporate tax dollars to directly support
BVA’s environmental education programs.
If your company would like to make a donation to
BVA or learn more, please contact Cindy Jaros at
610-793-1090 ext. 104 or [email protected].
General Information on Pennsylvania’s Educational
Improvement Tax Credit
What
is EITC?
The
Pennsylvania EITC
program allows businesses to divert
their state taxes to BVA’s education programs. To
do this, the business pledges to make a gift through the
EITC program, receives approval to do so and then
selects BVA as an approved organization to fulfill
the gift. The state Department of Community and Economic
Development then gives the business a tax credit up
to 90 %.

BVA’s education programs. EITC contributions
support BVA’s environmental education
programs. Students pictured here are learning

Center.
