Science Test?  No Problem!

Since the science PSSA was officially implemented in Pennsylvania, you may be looking for new ways to engage your students.  Let the BVA help you!  All of our programs are correlated to Delaware and Pennsylvania state science standards.

Elementary School Program Correlations to PA Standards

Middle School Program Correlations to PA Standards

High School Program Correlations to PA Standards

And yet, the real reason teachers keep coming back is because our outdoor classroom is fun, stimulating and it promotes problem solving skills.

Hands-on science is our specialty!

Book Your BVA Program in Three Easy Steps:

  1. Choose your Programs.

  2. Choose your Outdoor Classroom.

  3. Call us 610-793-1090.

1. Programs may be conducted at the Myrick Conservation Center, Saalbach Farm, your school, or other off-site location.  You choose your outdoor classroom:

The Myrick Conservation Center  is located on Route 842, 6 miles west of West Chester and three miles east of Unionville in the beautiful rolling hills of Chester County, PA.  The Myrick Conservation Center is a 318-acre property featuring natural areas that include stream, forest, field and pond communities as well as agricultural land which includes a one-acre organic garden and crop fields that are farmed to demonstrate “best practices” to students of all ages.  These programs are available at the Myrick Conservation Center.

Saalbach Farm is located between Route 30 and Kings Highway in West Caln Township, just outside of Coatesville, PA.  This farm is approximately 250 acres and is primarily agricultural land but features a pristine section of Rock Run, a tributary of the Brandywine Creek.  Associated natural areas include forest and wetland communities.  Saalbach farm is convenient for Downingtown and Coatesville Area School Districts.  These programs are available at Saalbach Farm.

Your School or Nearby Natural Area - Does your school property include a garden, wetland, forest or stream?  Or, maybe your school is within walking distance to a park?  Save money on the bus!  We’ll come to you!  These programs are available as outreach.

We have conducted programs at schools in the following School Districts:

Coatesville Area (PA)

Downingtown Area (PA)

West Chester Area (PA)
