Fundraising is encouraged! Participants can collect donations from friends, family and co-workers, in exchange for jumping into the icy water in the middle of winter. Team participation is encouraged.  Various Sponsorship levels make it possible for any business to participate in the Polar Plunge.

The Brandywine Polar Plunge event is hosted by the BVA to support their efforts to protect and conserve the natural resources of the Brandywine Valley. Since 2008, over 600 people have taken the plunge and raised over $37,000 to protect and conserve our region’s natural resources. As your leader in local watershed conservation & education, BVA offers programs for all ages and conducts environmental studies and projects to promote the restoration, preservation, conservation and enjoyment of our region’s natural resources.
