Busy Bees - FULL
Ages 4 & 5

Come spend a busy week buzzing about the Myrick Center! Learn about different animals and their habitats. Visit our creeks and pond to search for crayfish and frogs. Celebrate all of your learning on Friday with a special presentation! Create crafts, sing songs and spend your summer days getting wet and muddy!

Outrageous Otters
Ages 6 & 7

Are you outrageously into all things animal? Join us for a great week in nature exploring birds, insects, amphibians, reptiles and the mammals around us! Visit our creeks, pond and woods to search for animals in their natural habitats! Enjoy time with our very own live box turtles. Enjoy a special presentation on Friday to learn even more about animals in our area! Spend a great week outdoors playing and learning all while making lifelong friendships!

Fantastic Foxes - FULL
Ages 6 & 7

Calling all fantastic kiddos! Use your fox senses to explore and create during this week of camp. Spend time searching for crayfish, tadpoles, frogs, snakes and more! Meet up with your friends as you learn even more about local animals and their habitats. Finish off the week sharing stories, playing outdoor games, and using our slip and slide; making memories to last a lifetime!

Interesting Insects - FULL
Ages 8 & 9

Embrace your inner zoologist while you explore all the wondrous animals the Myrick Center has to offer. Hike to our pond and dip-net to search for the craziest insect in its natural habitat. Next up, grab some binoculars to search the skies for vultures, hawks, owls, and even more! Visit Northbrook Canoe Company for an exciting tubing adventure down the Brandywine Creek. Enjoy another off-site trip and listen to a special end of week presentation to learn even more about all things animal! Cool off playing in the shade of the woods and enjoy the beautiful summer days.

Rockin' Robins - FULL
Ages 10 - 12

You won’t want to miss out on this rockin’ good time. Spend your week learning about different animals, taking hikes, playing camp games, and more! Practice with our atl’atl, tomahawks and archery equipment. Visit to Northbrook Canoe Company for a kayaking adventure down the Brandywine! Finish off your week with a special animal presentation, guaranteed to leave you wanting more! !

Shooting Stars - FULL
Ages 11 - 15

*Please note this camp runs from Tuesday through Friday*
Learn all of the tips and tricks to become the best marksman or woman! Discover how to safely shoot a bow and arrow, crossbow, air rifle, 22 caliber rifle, and shotgun. Keep the fun going, practicing with atl’atl, slingshots and tomahawk throwing. You’ll visit the Ommelanden Hunter Education Training Center to learn how to shoot, trap and skeet. Your expert leader and BRC’s Executive Director Jim Jordan, a certified Hunter Safety and Shooting Instructor with over 22 years of experience, will make sure all campers are safe and supervised while having a blast! All equipment provided; no experience necessary.

Happy Hikers - FULL

Are you ready for adventure? Join BRC for its ultimate survival week. Test your skills as you participate in scavenger hunts and work together to conquer the heat. Spend time cooling off on our slip and slide, playing games with your buddies, and make some cool gadgets to bring your camp experience home!

Wetland Warriors - FULL
Ages 6 & 7

Join your friends this summer as your explore the property for adventure and wildlife! Spend time cooling off from the heat in our woods, by our streams, and at our pond. Meet up with other campers to create the ultimate campfire and cook your own delicious, creative snack. Compete in challenges and learn what it means to work together as a team. This week will be sure to delight your inner warrior!

Detectives of Danger - FULL
Ages 8 & 9

Uncover the mysteries of the Myrick Center! Test your survival skills this week spending your days building forts, catching fish at a neighboring property, and searching for macros in our pond. Visit a local park to investigate their land! Next, join your fellow campers for an ultimate tubing adventure down the Brandywine. Seek and you shall find… the best week of your summer vacation!

Thrill Seekers - FULL
Ages 10 - 12

Excite your senses in this adventure packed week! Enjoy ultimate games of man hunt and water adventure play to test your ability to handle the thrill of nature. Take your skills to the next level while you practice with tomahawks and slingshots. Learn the in’s and out’s of orienteering and practice your skills on an exceptional course! Head to Northbrook Canoe Company for a special trip down the Brandywine and test your level of adventure. Spend your days in the great outdoors enjoying all nature has to offer!

Brandywine Adventurers - Overnight - FULL
Ages 11 - 15

This camp seeks all who love adventure! Test your survival skills through a series of adventures held both at the Myrick Center and at our satellite campus, Saalbach Farm. Learn tips and tricks when it comes to Orienteering, followed by completing an exciting and unique course. Map your way down the Brandywine in canoes and kayaks and test all you’ve learned on a night hike that will kick off your camping overnight at the Myrick Center!

Outdoor Freedom Tikes - FULL
Ages 4 & 5

NEW FOR 2016! Join your friends for a fun filled week of camp. During your four days at the Myrick Center, practice your skills catching tadpoles, playing in the woods, and enjoying activities with the older groups! Stay cool with our water toys and go for a spin down our own slip and slide. Celebrate your outdoor freedom this week all while making lifelong friends and memories.

Outdoor Freedom Junior - FULL
Ages 6 - 8

Enjoy the freedom of the outdoors at our four day nature camp! Explore the pond, adventure in the woods, practice your campfire cooking skills and learn how to make the perfect s’more! When you think you can’t beat the heat, splash around in our sprinklers, enjoy our slip and slide and get ready for an all out water adventure!

Outdoor Freedom Senior - FULL
Ages 9 - 12

Spend your free time outside on our beautiful 318-acre property! Our four day nature camp will bring out your inner outdoor adventurer. Campers will spend their week playing games, going on hikes, fishing, making campfires and doing all things nature! Finish off your week with a fantastic trip canoeing down the Brandywine.

Mud Monsters - FULL
Age 4 & 5

Does your child love to get covered in mud? Create a lifetime of memories as you paint yourself muddy. Dig in the dirt searching for critters and even make “dirty” snacks! Spend time with our neighbor, Spring Brook Farm to learn all about farming and their animals! Campers will spend every minute using their senses to enjoy all aspects of camp.

Oodles of Ooze - FULL
Ages 6 & 7

Join your friends for oodles of fun at the Myrick Center. Discover the wild animals that nest on our property. Spend time playing in the mud and enjoying all areas of camp! Test your chef skills by creating the ooziest snack and meet some silly animals from our friends at Spring Brook Farm. This camp will surely keep you begging for more!

Diggin' It - FULL
Ages 8 & 9

Can you dig it? This week of adventure starts off with a fishing trip to a neighborhood pond. Then see what you can hunt for at our own pond and stream! Spend your hottest days cooling off on our slip and slide, as well as with our water toys and games. Learn about farming and animals when visitors from Spring Brook Farm join in on our fun! Enjoy a relaxing tubing trip down the Brandywine to truly experience all things wet and muddy!

Swamp Busters - FULL
Ages 10 – 12

There’s something strange living in Myrick’s neighborhood! With your fellow camp friends, spend your days on the ultimate summer expedition. Learn tactics to help you beat the heat, and overcome obstacles both on and off site! Test your animal knowledge with a presentation from Spring Brook Farm! Then use your new knowledge on an exciting canoeing trip down the Brandywine. When camp has no one to turn to, who you gonna call… SWAMP BUSTERS!

Wetland Warriors – Overnight - FULL
Ages 11 – 15

Get ready for a week of ultimate dirt and adventure! Master the trails of the Myrick Conservation Center searching for all things wet and muddy. Participate in activities that are guaranteed to leave you covered in mud. Visit a neighboring pond to practice your fishing skills and search for objects that reside on the muddy banks! Then take your adventures off-site for a caving trip to really learn what it means to be “down and dirty.” Complete the final stage of your journey with an overnight at our Myrick Center and wake up with a visit from Spring Brook Farm!

Super 4's and 5's - FULL
Ages 4 & 5

Calling all super heroes! If you love nature and adventure, than this camp is for you! Design your own cape and soar over our Myrick Center property while you search for tadpoles, frogs, and various insects! Learn the ways to plant various native foliage on our property to help keep our Earth healthy! Our super heroes will learn ways to help save our planet and have the best week at camp!

Captain Recylcing - FULL
Ages 6 & 7

Come save planet camp by showing off your super powers! Design your own super hero cape and compete in challenges to make the world a cleaner place. Visit our pond to test the water’s health and spend an afternoon learning the in’s and out’s of planting native species on the property. Defeat the heat on your final quest through our water games!

Iron Planet - FULL
Ages 8 & 9

Use your iron fist to help save our planet! Show off your skill as you partake in challenges to overcome villains who are out to harm nature. Search the pond, our streams, and the woods for signs of healthy habitats. Visit Southeastern Chester County Refuse Authority (SECCRA) to learn all about ways to recycle and reduce waste on our planet! Take your journey one step further on a tubing excursion down the Brandywine. Harness your powers as you create your very own super hero cape. This week is perfect for any hero looking to defend our Mother Earth.

Green Eco-Savers - Overnight 
Ages 10 – 12

Want to show off your green thumb? Join us for an exciting week at the Myrick Center. Spend time in the great outdoors looking for all signs green. Visit local properties to observe their eco-friendly tactics. Enjoy learning about landfills and recycling at local green power machine, Southeastern Chester County Refuse Authority (SECCRA). Spend a great day on the Brandywine and return to the Myrick Center for an overnight adventure!

Teenage Mutant Planet Heroes - FULL
Ages 11 – 15

Be a planet hero, teenager style, this week at our Myrick Conservation Center Summer Camp! Test your skills on an ultimate off-site adventure. Play games on our 318-acre property and even visit our own turtles to see their power. Practice your abilities with the atl’atl, tomahawks, and throwing knives. Search for best recycling and reusing ways on your off site trip to Southeastern Chester County Refuse Authority (SECCRA). Finally, look for animals and be the ultimate planet hero on your trip down the Brandywine! Come out of your shell, and help us cheer COWABUNGA!

We want you! The happiest campers spend their summer days at BRC exploring all of what nature has to offer. Use your senses to complete adventurous tasks all while singing songs and rockin’ to the beat of your own drum! Investigate all that summer has to offer during this five day adventure camp!

Wilderness Explorers - FULL
Ages 6 & 7

Calling all lovers of the wilderness! Join us for an adventurous week of exploring the 318-acres the Myrick Center has to offer! Search for the coolest rock, explore the woods and build the biggest and best fort. Join older campers to build a roaring campfire and enjoy delicious campfire snacks. When you think the fun has just begun, finish your week with a special activity!

Outdoor Experts - FULL
Ages 8 & 9

Are you an expert of all things outdoors? Then this week is perfect for you! Join with your fellow camp friends and counselors as you work together to share in your expertise. Start your week off learning all the skills it takes to build the best campfire! Spend your days by our stream searching for crayfish, at our pond searching for macroinvertebrates and tadpoles, and even take your knowledge on an offsite tubing trip. This week is sure to excite all those interested in the outdoors!

Ultimate Adventurers
Ages 10 – 12

Spend your days on adventurous quests throughout our ultimate 318-acre property and at other local spots. Visit a neighboring attraction to see what Chester County has to explore. Creep around the Brandywine’s edges in search of freshwater friends. After you think your adventure has run out, join the entire camp for an end of week counselor presentation during our Friday ice cream social!

Rockin' Amuck - FULL
Ages 10 – 12

Join us for a rockin’ good time that’s guaranteed to get you wet and muddy! Spend your days digging through the mud in search of the coolest grubs and insects, as well as the shiniest or coolest rocks. You and your camp friends will have a fantastic time venturing into our Lenape woods to cool off and even have the opportunity to show off your best slides on our slip and slide. You’ll even get the opportunity to take your knowledge on a special off site adventure! Finish off your week relaxing on a canoeing trip down the Brandywine Creek.

Buddies of Water - FULL
Ages 4 & 5

Join your best buddies as you spend your end of summer days splashing around at the Myrick Conservation Center. Learn about insects, reptiles, amphibians all while enjoying the wonders of the outdoors. Cool off in our streams and spend time playing with our water toys! End the week with a special presentation and our final ice cream social of the season.

Amazing Arachnids -FULL
Ages 6 & 7

Come explore the amazing world of arachnids! Creep around the Myrick Center in search of webs and spiders, as well as other insects in their natural habitats. Learn about the life cycles of insects as well as other animals and visit their homes at our pond, stream and woods. This week is sure to excite all budding scientists!

Fearless Frogs - FULL
Ages 8 & 9

Be fearless this week while making lasting memories with your camp friends! Search the pond for tadpoles and frogs, enjoy fort building in the woods and even spend time enjoying ultimate water games. Visit a neighboring park for a truly wet and muddy adventure. Journey down the Brandywine to see how many amphibians you can spot! Seek out the true nature of all things wet and muddy during this final week of summer camp at the Myrick.

Goofy Geckos - FULL
Ages 8 & 9

Do you love to laugh and spend your days outside in nature? Then this is the perfect camp for you! From our Lenape Woods to our Skytop Field, join your friends in all things goofy this week. Take off to new heights on a special off-site trip! Spend time playing and searching for animals as well as cooling off at Northbrook Canoe Company on an ultimate adventure down the Brandywine. Soak up the final weeks of summer; this camp is sure to be full of laughs and new experiences!

Sneaky Snakes 
Ages 10 - 12

Sneak and slither like a snake about the property searching for all things creepy crawly. Join all animal enthusiasts searching for native flora and fauna, fishing, hiking, and playing ultimate water games throughout the week. Take a trip down the Brandywine to find the coolest water snakes as well as the creek’s other inhabitants. Enjoy out of this world adventures on a special off-site trip. This week is sure to excite and engage all campers in everything sly!
