About the Chester County Historical Society...
The Brandywine Valley Association's Fifty-Eighth Annual Meeting Thursday, October 23, 2003 will showcase the widely-respected Chester County Historical Society (CCHC), located in the Brandywine Watershed.
The CCHS, considered the hub of historical and cultural heritage in Chester County and southeastern Pennsylvania, provides its members with research and learning experiences, as well as exhibits and special events. Its library and archives represent the preservation of more than 300 years of the region's heritage.
CCHS's History Center is an interactive museum of both permanent and changing exhibits. Its galleries are filled with numerous artifacts and memorabilia that provide tangible connections to the past.
BVA members and guests attending the Fifty-Eighth Annual Meeting will have the opportunity to tour the History Center, as part of the evening's program.
